Quiet space…

26may33b.jpg

Doors at 15.00.

The Tower Of Babel (aka Los Internationales) at 16.02, slightly held back for audience contingencies.
Procession in, led by Vicious Queen Elisa, via the balcony. A photographer snapped from below.
The Procession encircled/spiraled, moved into groups and responded as the situation required.
A red light, indicating a photographer, attracted my attention. I moved towards him, pointing. He mouthed: I’m sorry. Reply: Don’t lie to me.

Repertoire: Red, Voices of Ancient Children, Berceuse, Askesis.

Orchestra Of Crafty Guitarists:  when ready, please begin!

Please move to the Octatonic Vicious Queen Whizz Formation. This with four Vicious Queens in pole positions, and four VQs at key points in between: Please Whizz! until the world becomes the place you wish it to be.

Eye of the Needle. Played by the large Circle, extended in space, and powerful. A loud shout from someone in the audience, as the last note fell into silence, indicated they both got it, and didn’t.

A long, winding silent Procession out: a high spot of the performance for me.

Strong applause.
Encore: Schizoid Man.
Encore: Asturias with Procession chords circulated.

An unfisting in the Green Room.

In the audience: a Sherborne House person of my long acquaintance, a continuing point of reference throughout. Good to know that at least one person is present and listening.

Final meeting 18.15.
Hideyo of The California Guitar Trio joined us.
Many good comments, particularly Sandra’s Point Of Seeing on the Bowery three years ago; and one or two witterings.
Bill counted in Curt’s masterful depiction of Guitar Craft Face.
The OCG VII declared completed at 19.03.

The Team moved onto the ‘bus, returning to Camp Caravan, into vans and cars.

Tom and Joanne carried me past Ground Zero and the World Financial Center I…

Arriving at the Newark Airport Marriot c. 20.10. As Tom and JoAnne set off…

… I just missed a call from the Minx c. 20.15, her own tour completed after three months. Pooey pooey.

Good reports for the performance this afternoon are coming in from respected persons.
